George A. Abodeely is the former Assistant Treasurer of a $600 million firm. He has over thirty years of combined experience in credit and collections, finance, accounting, and treasury management. He began his consulting career as a turnaround management specialist, and he has performed successful engagements across a broad group of industries, including the legal industry; banking; food and beverage; professional service organizations; light and heavy manufacturing; apparel; health care; paper products; construction; oil and gas distribution; aviation; professional sports; and entertainment. His client engagements have included companies with annual revenues ranging from $10 million to $1 billion. His active clients are among the largest and most prestigious law firms and commercial lenders in the world.

Since 1990, George has spent much of his time working with a number of AM 100 law firms managing receivables resolution outsourcing projects; performing process diagnostic review and procedural development projects and conducting staff training seminars for in-house collectors. His firm was engaged to liquidate the receivables portfolios of several prominent law firms in dissolution, including Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP; Heller Ehrman; Thelen LLP; Howrey LLP, Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP and many others, both in and out of bankruptcy. He has authored articles for the legal industry in the client/matter intake, billing, and collections management areas, has conducted seminars at national conferences sponsored by the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA), and has appeared as a guest speaker at numerous legal industry seminars and corporate gatherings.

George received his BS degree in Accounting from West Virginia State College, and his MBA in Finance from the University of San Francisco. He is a member of the Association of Finance Professionals, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the American and California Collectors Associations.
